Appointment of New President & CEO

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Benoît Garant to succeed Howard Fields as President and Chief Executive Officer of Anomera.

Howard Fields has resigned from his employment with Anomera but remains a shareholder of the company. Howard provided the transition planning necessary to have a well-positioned leadership team to manage all facets of the business to provide a seamless transition for its employees, customers, and partners. Howard provided almost 5 years of service to Anomera, and the company wishes him well in his next endeavors.   Benoît is the holder of a CPA, CMA and MBA. He worked for over 25 years in publicly traded companies including 20 years at CGI, a fast growing and very entrepreneurial multinational organisation, in which he led numerous strategic activities in Canada, Europe and Asia. He left CGI in 2018 to leverage his skills helping smaller companies to transform or improve their business foundation to support their growth. These included Medisys, DCM Aerospace and Letenda, an innovative zero-emissions bus manufacturer.  Benoît has great business acumen combined with the ability to identify talents and capitalize on a company’s strengths to enhance its value and promote its growth. Benoît joined Anomera in April 2022 as Chief Financial Officer and has displayed drive and energy, leading Anomera in a period of change and review of its growth strategy. His vision and constant customer and employee focus have already contributed to strengthen the company business foundation and culture. We trust him to champion our values and our mission to further grow a sustainable and diversified portfolio of applications which will deliver the highest quality products to our customers.

We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Nathan Hordy as Chief Operating Officer and Dr. Tim Morse as Senior Director, Research and Innovation. Both Nathan and Tim are co founders of the company and have been key contributors to its success.
