Anomera Announces Research Collaboration with Queen’s University
Anomera is excited to be progressing through a dynamic research collaboration with Queen’s University, in partnership with Professors Kevin De France and Marianna Kontopoulou, on a Mitacs-supported project. Together, we’re exploring how Anomera’s advanced cellulose materials can enhance biodegradable polymers like PBAT and PLA. Our work compares unmodified and surface-modified cellulose to better understand their effects on nucleation and thermomechanical properties.
While testing is still underway, early findings are promising and continue to deepen our understanding of cellulose in bioplastic applications. We’re excited about the progress and look forward to sharing more as the project wraps up.
